This is the first volume in a 3-part history of I (Bull's) Troop R.H.A. Following their formation in 1805 they fought bravely through the Peninsular Campaign, led by Captain Robert Bull, from whom the troop took their name. The book finishes with their role in the battle of Waterloo - largely unknown until the author found letters from Captain Bull alongside other documents that helped reveal the pivotal role they played in the defence of Hougoumont.
